Guy and Lorna Doone

Guy and Lorna Doone. Guy Albert John Burton (born 1910) on his pony Lorna Doone, both two years old at the time. The pony is held by Guy’s mother, Hope Berd Burton, nee Bartlett, the second wife of Guy’s father, Revd Albert Edward Burton (born 1862). Guy’s grandmother, Mary Burton, nee Andrews, was sister to museum founders R.T. and W.F. Andrews.
