The museum is located in Hertford’s historic town centre.

By Car: Nearest car parks are Gascoyne Way or Hartham Common (both within 3-5 minutes walk). Disabled parking is available on Bull Plain.

By Train: 5 minutes walk from Hertford East and 15 minutes from Hertford North station.

By Bus: 3 minutes walk from Hertford Bus station

By Bicycle: Hertford Museum is very close to cycle paths which are part of National Cycle Route 61
