Walter Thornton Andrews

Walter Thornton Andrews, born 22.9.1879, pictured at 25 Castle Street, 1903, nephew of museum founders R.T. and W.F. Andrews. Walter was born in Nagasaki and grew up in Hokkaido, Japan, where his father Walter Andrews later became Bishop. He was a clergyman himself and married Lily Phelips on 1.1.1904 and they had a son, Robert Phelips Andrews in 1905.
